A few words about each of our leadership team members who support managers and staff
at the service of our guests.
Founder & Managing Partner
Dan Thiessen
Dan grew up on a local cattle ranch. After culinary school and working in Europe, Dan built a 25-year career in the dining and catering business as a chef, operator, and educator. Now Managing Partner of the Walla Walla Steak Company & Crossbuck Brewing locations as well as Yellowhawk Resort, Thiessen Ranch and Wagon
Wrench Vineyard. Dan’s roots in the community, industry connections, and
leadership will drive the business and brand.

Director of Restaurant Operations
Jim Kiefer
Jim has built his career in the hospitality industry with a focus on creating a culture where people feel welcome. Prior to joining Walla Walla Steak Company, Jim owned and operated a steak and seafood restaurant in Steamboat Springs, Colorado then moved to Bend, Oregon where he served as general manager of the Bos Taurus steakhouse.

Lindsay Mulholland
Lindsay's career history began in nonprofit health care which afforded her experiences in federal compliance, grant writing and management, and public relations. More recently, she's taken 15 years of accounts management experience and ventured into the realm of private business consulting and accounting. Motived by
detail and organization, Lindsay works to understand and execute worthwhile opportunities.
